“Joy”

    The message of Jesus has always been a message of joy! It was the angel

that declared this message to the frightened shepherds on the night of his birth. “… Do not be afraid; for behold I bring you good news of great joy which shall be for all the people…” (Luke 2:10 NAS). Think about it – “good news”, “great joy”, “all people”! That’s something to get excited about! No matter what you’re facing or what you’re going through right now, God has promised to give to you, through His son Jesus Christ, “good news, great joy, all people.” Even Jesus Himself said, “These things have I spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full” (John 15:11 NAS).

Do you need some joy today? Jesus has promised to be your joy. Look to Him; focus your attention on Him; call out to Him; ask Him to turn your sorrow into joy. You will not be disappointed.
